Congratulations Joe and Kyra!

Joe Nesteriak (A) and Kyra Pishtey were recently married. Joe is currently deputy commissioner for the Connecticut Department of Public Works in Hartford. Congratulations and best wishes to them!

KDR Brothers Safe and Sound

We are happy to report that all KDR brothers in the NYC area are safe following the tragedy of September 11. We encourage you to help out in any way you can; more information is available at Helping.Org. Our thoughts are with the brothers who will be involved in the United States' military campaign against terrorism, including brother Erik Friedman (I), who is currently stationed in North Carolina. We are also interested in tracking down our brother Hector Santiago (E) - if anyone has any information on how to contact him please let us know.

Kulak Baby #2 is Here!

Ella Blaise Kulak was born at 10:09 AM on Thursday, August 9, 2001. The second child of Chris (B) and his wife Heidi, Ella weighed in at 8 pounds, 6.6 oz., 21 inches long! Big brother Cade is very proud. Congratulations!!

No, Angel didn't run off with another man!

If you happen to discover that our lavaliere, Angel, has a new last name you don't recognize, don't worry. She changed it for personal reasons and not due to marriage! Angel and Barto recently moved to a new home in Austin, Texas.

Kinyatta Rocks!

Kinyatta King is now officially the drummer for Central New York's funkiest band! You may have seen August Project, featuring brother kinyatta (second from left) and the members of august project Kinyatta, Jason Klug, Brad Tukey, and Jesse Salucci, at house parties or Syracuse's hot spots, from Darwin's, to the Carousel Mall, to the Landmark Theater. They have opened for such artists as John Popper, Edwin McCain, and Blessid Union of Souls. Their music has been played on many local stations, such as Hot 107.9. August Project is currently working on their second CD, and information on upcoming shows will be posted on our Events page. Keep an eye on them!

Congratulations to Kyle Maurer (M) and Beth Hasbrouck, who were recently married! Kyle, who graduated in '98, proposed to Beth, who was lavaliered in 1997, during Homecoming Weekend in October 2000.

Angel Rifenbury was lavaliered by Eric Barto (P) on Saturday, November 18, during Homecoming weekend. Angel and Barto have been living in Nagodoches, Texas with the house mascot, Whiskee. Congratulations!

Geoff Ciereck (S) is now legal! Geoff celebrated his 21st birthday on September 21, 2000, and lived to tell about it. Congratulations!
